Upcomming Releases 2008
There are still so much stories written and to write in Dronæments diary of sound. So sheets and disks will still tumbling outside into world. The following are from the last year of 2007 which was recorded with lot of heartblood and heavy organtones, scraped strings and nerves, stuffing the head with cooton wool and smoke, broken and glued hearts.
the conductor is reeling
Last year I'm visiting Mr. Uhlig in the ex-capitol of west-germany and the Beethoven town, Bonn. We ate lots of french fries and compose some contemporary classical music, whithout knowlege about that field.
From then till now, there were a lot plans, to release this, but ideas always mutated, so there is no real date when it will see the light and where. It's kind of losing your diary in your messy flat.
So keep your ears open and check back here in 10 years to get some more news about that recording.
Release on Gears of Sand „Suchness“ serie, planned for May 2008
Dronæment recorded a long raw floating drone session on chrismas eve 2007 for the Suchness serie of Gears of Sand Recordings Label.
Aim of the serie is, to release raw and untreated recordings by experimental music artists. »It
deals with 'improvisational energies of 'just doing it', that is such a
beautiful and energizing part of live atmospheric performances'«
So I started on December the 25th with recording a session and send the
sounds of e-organ and synths through a lot of circuits and loosing
control while turning knobs.
Very raw and noisy, but floating drone.
Each release comes in a great handmade, limited to 100 copies, chipboard box and I'm looking forward to the result.

And at the final end for the moment, the fields serie will be completed and fill the gap between fields 1 and fields 4.
It will come on fieldmuzick the label that brought fields 1 to light.
It comes as limited two CD Box and I'm proud that digital baobab from lyon, france, will do the cover.
This release will close the chapter of the field serie and a chapter of my life in my little world.
Currently I reconsider and evaluate my whole beeing and work - I'm getting empty of all, I lost and let go my beloved one. And I lay lots of things to rest, disturbing old patterns and torn away old unwritten rules.
I have no idea what will happen - there are no rules expect my own, but they are torn and tear and I'm waiting for my time to come.
